About Me
I started painting when I was 6 years old and I haven't really stopped ever since. Art is why I wake up in the morning and the last thing I think about when I go to sleep. I work in several mediums, including: painting, drawing, photography, printing, and collage. I continually think art will help us understand the biggest of questions and the smallest of trivialities.

My History
|
I grew up in Washington, DC. I attended The School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a major in painting and drawing and a minor in performance art. I graduated from SAIC with a BFA in 2005. I have worked for various museums, galleries, frame shops, and non-profits in Chicago, Baltimore, Alexandria, and Washington, DC including: The Phillips Collection, Atlas and Picasso Galleries, The Smithsonian, Museum Framing, and the Art Institute of Chicago. I've recently decided to take on still life and portraits in acrylic and watercolor while applying different encaustic techniques to various substrates and textures.
